Our Care Managers like to get to know their clients and family on a personal level. We have found that getting to know our clients helps us understand specific preferences and unique care needs. As a result, the Care Manager can ensure the caregiver is meeting the goals designated in the care plan, and communicate any necessary care changes. More than anything, we hope by getting to know you and your family personally, we will build a long and lasting relationship.
Each Care Manager oversees the caregivers and arranges services. They also make supervisory visits to the senior’s home regularly. Additionally, a monthly wellness call is made to the family.
We encourage each client to reach out to their Care Manager as needed. They can be reached by appointment or over the phone. Our Care Managers are specially trained to oversee and handle any and all client requests.
2. Complimentary Nurse Wellness Visits.
A complimentary wellness visit is performed within 30 days of care service by Golden Years own nursing staff for every client.
Although there are no regulations requiring nurse oversight in California, Golden Years goes above and beyond the industry standard. Our clients are routinely visited by a Golden Years nurse. Each visit consists of a wellness check where our nurse discusses care needs and takes notes pertaining to the overall wellness of the client. These notes are submitted to our care team for review, where care changes are discussed and implemented after the fam0ily’s approval. We go the extra mile to ensure your loved one is receiving the best care possible. And we will create a customized solution for any care concern. In addition, we can schedule an in person meeting any day, and most times, available within a few hours. 4. Intensive Caregiver Training.
At this time California has very few state requirements for caregivers. For this reason, many home care providers are not obligated to hire caregiver with formal training. Each Golden Years caregiver completes Golden Years Academy, an orientation training program which ensures our caregivers have a complete understanding of all the essential care techniques.
